On to A Level 


Year 12 and Year 13


Access to the Sixth Form to study to General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (A Level) examinations in Year 13, is open to those students who have passed a required minimum of subjects at (I)GCSE with good grades.

Students choose three subjects which they study for two years. All pupils prepare for a Spanish qualification at an appropriate level, with most completing the A Level in Spanish in Year 13.

Biology Art Biology Business French
ICT Chemistry Chemistry    
Maths Further Maths Economics    
Physics Geography English Lit    
Psychology

History

Media    
  Maths Music    
    Physics    

 

Pupils choose 3 subjects, no more than one from each column.

Pupils choosing Further Maths also study Maths A Level.

Spanish for Native Speakers or Spanish for Non-native Speakers is studied by all pupils.

 

Success in the International Baccalaureate and A Level examinations gives access to university education worldwide
